Collective Noun

In linguistics, a collective noun is a word referring to a collection of things taken as a whole. Most collective nouns in everyday speech are not specific to one kind of thing. For example, the collective noun "group" can be applied to people ("a group of people"), dogs ("a group of dogs"), or objects ("a group of stones").

Computer Accessibility

Computer accessibility refers to the accessibility of a computer system to all people, regardless of disability type or severity of impairment. The term accessibility is most often used in terms of specialized hardware or software, or a combination of both, designed to enable computer use by a person with a disability or impairment. Accessibility features are meant to make using technology less challenging for those with disabilities.

Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures

The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system provides a reference method for publicly known information-security vulnerabilities and exposures. The United States National Cybersecurity FFRDC, operated by The MITRE Corporation, maintains the system, with funding from the US National Cyber Security Division of the US Department of Homeland Security. The system was officially launched for the public in September 1999.
