Association of European Geological Societies

AEGS aims to identify geological problems of Europe as a whole; promote investigation and research; assist in promoting a unified understanding of geology, geophysics and geochemistry of the solid earth of Europe; promote collaboration among workers of different countries, geological societies and branches of earth sciences; increase public understanding of geological knowledge and its application in solving future economic, technological and social problems.
